Week 1!!!

I'm gonna keep it short this week cause I don't want to bore you (sorry, no cool stories yet). If you're just waiting for photos from Spain I totally understand—go ahead and disregard this email.

Today is day three of missionary life!  A lot of my day is spent sitting and watching the 3 hour Zoom sessions. If their goal was to get me excited to go to the MTC, then it's definitely doing the trick haha. My free time is spent practicing as much Spanish as possible and doing personal and companionship study. It's definitely been difficult to get into a new schedule, but every day is easier. I've started to get to know my district and it's made up of just very genuine, kind individuals. I'm so excited to meet them in person next week! There's only been one Elder who was discussing buying a ring when he gets home so I'd say as a group we're pretty locked in haha. My companion and I have our first "appointment" tomorrow so wish me luck. My companion is opting for a more spontaneous approach to the lesson so can't wait to see how that goes, at least it's in English. Another highlight this week was my mom making some Spanish cuisine. Last night she made gazpacho and chorizo con pimientos! Still not sure why they like their tomato soup cold, but it's pretty good with croutons and granny smiths. Lot of new things to get used to and I'm so excited for this new adventure!

Let me know if you know someone who would like to be on this email chain or heck even if you want to get taken off. (I should get used to rejection now)
Feel free to reach out!

Thanks!!!
