Happy Thanksgiving!!!

A very happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope you all enjoy plenty of stuffing, football and the opportunity to look back on the blessings that we have been given. Christmas time is also beginning here in Spain with lights being put up! Expect to see some photos soon! But I'm getting ahead of myself - let's talk about the week!

We started off the week in Maribella, an area near ours, and did a "blitz." That means every missionary in the district goes to one area and spends most the day just finding new people. It was a blast and we found lots of amazing people. We even got some Columbian food to end off the day (the photo of the massive plate). I need to start getting some photos without food so I can have something to show after the mission.

It has been an amazing week with lots of progress. We set dates for baptisms with 4 different friends! One, Neheul, is from Argentina. We received him from a reference and met with him this week on Saturday. On Sunday he came to church and really enjoyed it. It was the primary program actually haha. He has strong desires to change and wants to feel more of God's influence in his life.

Our other friend is named Salome and she's from Ecuador! We showed her the church and she had lots of good questions and is very interested. She also came to the baptism we had on Sunday and she really enjoyed it. She connected with members and was touched by the service. That said, she struggles to understand how she can know for herself the truths of the gospel. We invited her to try for herself the invitation offered in the Book of Mormon.

Moroni 10:4
"And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost."

May we all redouble our efforts to come to a knowledge of these things through the confirmation of the Holy Ghost. Ask yourself how would your life change if you knew, really knew, that these things are true and seek for an answer. It is promised that it will come.
