The Weather Outside is Frightful❄️⛄️
We started this week off with a bang with a Turkey Bowl to celebrate Thanksgiving! We went down to Granada and played with a bunch of Elders from the zone. We escaped with no injuries, but American football, along with normal fútbol, was banned in the mission this week
This week was little difficult to be honest. We lost contact with many of the people we set for baptismal date this last week and one of them that was progressing nicely didn't feel that the Word of Wisdom was something she wants. That said, we always have new friends and things to look forward to. For example, Viviana was a friend from Columbia we met on Friday. She already came to church on Sunday and is very interested in the church. She already knows a lot and we should be meeting with her more this week.
Not a lot more to talk about this week, but on Tuesday I did exchanges with Elder Oporto. He's from Peru so we got to speak Spanish all day
Its always fun to learn and spend the day with other Elders. Also the top photo is Silvio and us with our new guampas (Mate cups) calling our friends to remind them of church.

1 And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho
2 And, behold, there was a man named Zacchæus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich
3 And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature
4 And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him
5 And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchæus, make haste, and come down
6 And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
7 And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.
8 And Zacchæus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house
10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
How often do we feel that we are "little of stature"? How often do we feel that we are not seen literally or spiritually, that we are not known? How might that have felt to be in the presence of Jesus and to be so fully understood, despite all the opinions of others? Let us seek, like Zacchæus, to climb that tree and accept Jesus into our home. He, with compassion, will find what was lost.
