Scuba Diving to Find Friends 🐋☔️
Let me just start by apologizing for the lack of photos this week. I have become way to accustomed to the beauty of Málaga and have stopped taking photos. We have basically just been soaked all week long with lots of storms, but it's still been super awesome!
This Thursday, we went to Marbella and spent the morning finding lots of people! It was actually like hurricane weather, but it was super fun to be as a district and I spent the day with my old trainer: Elder Price!
Franklin has continued to progress super well and should be getting baptized this Sunday! He tried on his baptism clothes this past Friday and opened his family search account. He is planning to go to the temple with the ward and even brought a friend to church! He is one of the nicest guys I've ever met and will be such a blessing to the ward.
This past Sunday, Boni, the niece of a member who has been on and off taking the lessons for 4 months, told us that she wants to be baptized this Sunday. We were a little shocked and I'm not sure what changed, but we've got lots to do this next week to get her prepared!
There's a scripture in 3 Nephi 18 that I would like to share. It reads:
"Nevertheless, ye shall not cast him out of your synagogues, or your places of worship, for unto such shall ye continue to minister; for ye know not but what they will return and repent, and come unto me with full purpose of heart, and I shall heal them; and ye shall be the means of bringing salvation unto them."
I think that's incredible that we might be the means of bringing salvation. It's important to note that what we do is minister and not cast them out, and it is God that will heal them. I invite y'all to think of ways to minister to those around you and bring them unto Jesus Christ to allow Him to heal them
