With the baptisms that we've had in the ward, we now have the fun job of reteaching and taking care of all of the recent converts. The fun thing is that it can really take any shape or size. For example, this last Tuesday my companion cut the hair of Angel as we reviewed the Restoration. That same day I was able to play tennis with Felipe and then teach a lesson to him after. It's so much fun to be able to develop those relationship, because it actually allows them to learn more deeply. With some other recent converts we have begun reading the Book of Mormon together. It is a group of 5 with 3 recent converts and 2 other friends that wanted to do it with us. Although our main goal is always to baptize, it has been extremely gratifying and, frankly, just fun to work with recent converts and see their progress in the gospel. They are excited to work and learn and serve, but they need to be taken care of to build their spiritual foundation. This last Sunday, we went to a nearby town to visit 3 recent Colombian converts. We brought with us a member of a few years, and a friend we were teaching also came with his friend. There ended up being 7 Colombian and just me! It was really cool to have the recent converts in the lesson and each of them was able to share their testimonies about how their lives had changed for the better.

Elizabet is our friend who was going to be baptized this last Sunday. We ended up not being able to do a baptism because of the special meeting this last Sunday, but she is completely ready for this next Sunday! When I taught her about the temple and that marriages there are for time and all eternity she did ask if she could marry me, but no worries -haha. When at the end of the lessons I asked her if she had any other questions, she repeated the question, but I did have to tell I was off limits right now (and probably forever for women 25 years older than me)

This week we also also met someone named Belinda. Her soon to be husband is a member and she is completely ready to be baptized, she just wanted to be married first. She was married on Monday and she should be baptized on the 12th of April. Crazy what blessing we receive sometimes.

I'm reading in Job right now and thought I would share this verse related to Easter:

Job 19
25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God

May you all have a fantastic Easter and enjoy General Conference. Please take time this week to study the importance of the Holy Week and the context leading up to the most important event in the history of the world.
